I'm Back! Spring '22 Update

Hello Friends.
I’m sorry it’s taken so long to add a new post. Life has been very demanding as we come out of the pandemic and get back to work. A lot of my time has been spent working on our new house. We’re blessed with a beautiful home on a beautiful piece of property in Sebastopol. I’m learning lots of new skills, while making sure not to sever one of my hands!
But most importantly I’m getting back into the groove of being a working musician. Some of the highlights include performing the score to ‘SKYFALL’ (James Bond) live with the San Francisco Symphony. Great score, challenging guitar book and an amazing orchestra. Had a wonderful concert with Bay Area vocal legend Kitty Margolis at newly refurbished Presidio Theater in SF. What a wonderful venue! I’ve also been doing 1 and 2 week stints with ‘HAMILTON’ in Fort Worth, Fresno, Durham and next month in New Orleans. Nice to reconnect with a lot of familiar faces, as well as working with some new ones. I’m currently working with Sonoma County singer/songwriter Elaine Lucia on her new album. She really writes wonderful songs that cut across genres. Lots of fun.
I’m really looking forward to my upcoming performance of the world premiere of the new musical ‘GODDESS’ with Berkeley Rep Theater in August. This show has been in development for years and promises to be an exciting one. Set in Mombassa, it features the band onstage playing afro, R&B and jazz music complete with lots of improvising. What!?! Right up my alley. More info here - https://www.berkeleyrep.org/shows/goddess/
You can also expect a sprinkling of jazz gigs with local Bay Area cats, including my own trio. Check out the Performance page for more deets.
Thats it for now. I promise I won’t wait so long for my next post. Hope to see you out and about. Cheers.
