Summer Catch Up

Busy, busy, busy. It’s been great to be working a lot right now. Sorry it’s taken a minute to catch you up on all that’s been happening. Going back to June, I was thrown into the fire when I got called to play ‘DEAR EVAN HANSEN’ with less than 48 hours notice - a show I had never played. It was a challenge as it’s guitar driven show orchestrated by the great Alex Lacamore - lots of detail. But my homie Eric Stockton (brilliant player) was playing the other guitar book and really helped me out. All went well and I’ll be playing the show again in SF in January. Thanks Eric!!
Had some nice ‘HAMILTON’ runs in Durham, NC and New Orleans. NOLA particularly sweet as my son Gabriel lives there and we had some great hang time. I also have had the pleasure of doing a string of gigs with the SF Symphony. A Judy Garland tribute, a show with Bernadette Peters and the live film score Pixar in Concert. Such a pleasure to work with that amazing orchestra.
Now I’m deep in performing the new musical at Berkeley Rep - ‘GODDESS’. It’s such a fun show with the onstage band playing Afro-pop, jazz, funk etc. It’s a great story with an amazing band and cast. We run through October 2nd - come check it out! Details on my Performance page.
I’ll keep you posted on gigs coming up after this run. Hope to see you out there. Cheers!
